Education

    The Šiauliai Regional State Archives organises and conducts educational programmes, educational seminars, educational excursions and other events.

     Educational events are organised in Šiauliai (Vilniaus str. 160, Šiauliai) and in the Panevėžys branch (M. Valančiaus str. 3, Panevėžys). The recommended group size is about 15-20 persons.

     The educational events are aimed at all those interested in history, the activities of the archives and the documents they hold. During the educational events, participants are introduced to the system of state archives, their activities and significance in shaping the concept of a document, to the archives' electronic document search tools, and are shown the repositories of documents and the most interesting documents.
